It’s a wrap, Neighbours!

From the shared laughs to the unforgettable moments, you’ve been with us every step of this journey, and your support has made this past month one we’ll always treasure.

So before we close this chapter, we’re handing the mic to our kakis to share what this project has meant to them.

This Neighbourhood Kaki project has taught me that talking to your neighbours is actually not that scary!

We tend to judge people at first glance, but once you go up to them and talk to them, you'll find out that they're nice and friendly people. :)

Through Neighbourhood Kaki, I realised being a good neighbour isn’t just about being quiet and polite, it’s about being friendly, saying hello, and seeing the people around you as a support system. In times when many feel disconnected, those small connections matter more than ever.

Neighbourhood kaki has helped me realise that I should take more care about my neighbours by making small talk with them when I bump into them in the lift.

After doing this project, I was more outgoing, and I wished my neighbours a happy National Day. 🇸🇬

I learnt to be more curious to learn about my neighbours and to get to understand them.

It also taught me not to overthink the interactions, but just be myself around my neighbours.

THIS PROJECT HAS MADE ME LEARN HOW TO APPRECIATE THE LITTLE THINGS IN MY NEIGHBOURHOOD & THE PEOPLE AROUND ME.

AFTER DOING THIS PROJECT, I'VE REALISED THAT EVEN THE SIMPLEST INTERACTIONS CAN HAVE A MEANINGFUL IMPACT. 🗣🗣🗣

Being in Neighbourhood Kaki has opened my eyes.

I've been interacting and chatting with my neighbours since then, and realised that if we just step outside of our comfort zone, our neighbours can be the ones we want to rely on as a pillar of support. 🫂🫂

Through this project, I started noticing how even quick interactions, a wave, a shared joke, a helping hand, can brighten someone’s day.

It’s made me realise that building small moments of connection can make our neighbourhood feel more like home. 🏡🏡

It’s funny how the smallest moments can mean the most. Once again, thank you all for being part of this journey.

Whether you’re on screen or just around the block, we’ll always be neighbours.

Neighbourhood Kaki signing out ✌️
